How to Set Up Email on Your iOS Device (for Employees)

The following procedure walks you through the process of setting up Alcorn Employee Email on your iOS device (e.g., iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad).


Please note that the bold text indicates text you should see on your screen or type.

  1. On your iOS device, tap Settings > Accounts and Passwords > Add Account > Exchange.
  2. Enter your email address. For the description, type Alcorn Mail.
  3. After you enter your email address, you can choose either Configure Manually or Sign In to connect to your Exchange Server. Tap on Sign In.
  4. Next, enter your password in the password box that shows up on the screen. If you entered your username and password correctly, you will briefly see green checkmarks and then be moved to the next screen.
  5. Among Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes, choose which you would like to sync with your phone making sure that at least Mail is set to sync. When you're finished, tap Save.

If you've completed these steps successfully, within a couple of minutes, your email should be available in your Mail app.
